Tickets will be sold at the door on a sliding scale. ______________________________________________________________________ Come Celebrate! solidarity * the coming solstice * community * good food * music This year we are raising money for Outright L/A (based in Lewiston) and Treatment Action Campaign (based in South Africa). In a climate in which open discrimination against queer members of our community is still welcomed and accepted we feel it is necessary to show support for the one organization working with queer, questioning, and allied youth in Lewiston/Auburn. Outright L/A (http://www.outrightla.org/) supports queer, questioning, and allied youth through working with local GSAs to offer support in schools and by offering weekly "drop-in" hours on Friday nights - where youth have a safe space to watch movies, do arts projects, or just hang out with one another. Treatment Action Campaign (http://www.tac.org.za/community/), based in South Africa, has the vision of A unified quality health care system which provides equal access to HIV prevention and treatment services for all people. Their mission is to ensure that every person living with HIV has access to quality comprehensive prevention and treatment services to live a healthy life. Directions to the Turner Center Grange HallFrom points south: Take 95 N to exit 75 Auburn (towards Farmington,Rumford, Rangeley, Mechanic Falls). Follow signs for US 202 E and Rt. 4 N. Continue to follow Rt. 4 through Auburn out to Turner to Rt. 117. Take a right onto Rt. 117/Turner Center Rd. You'll pass Nezinscot Farm on your left. Follow Rt. 117 into the center of Turner. Turner Grange is on your left just after crossing the Nezinscot River and 6/10 mile from Nezinscot Farm. From points north: Take Rt. 202 south from Augusta. Pass through Monmouth, Leeds and enter the town of Greene. Take a right onto Allen Pond Rd. at the blinking light. Landrys quick stop just after the turn. If you pass Landry's you have gone too far. Follow Allen Pond Rd. across the Androscoggin River and into Turner. Go straight through two stop signs. Landmark: Pass Shrep's Corner gas station at the first stop sign. Turner Grange is up on your right about a 1/4 of a mile from the stop signs in the center of Turner. Look for signs. If you pass Nezinscot Farm you have gone too far. Turner Grange is 6/10 mile from Nezinscot Farm. From Brunswick and points east: Take Rt. 9 West which turns into Sawyer Rd. in Sabattus. Stay straight on Sawyer Rd. into Greene. Straight to Rt. 202/Main St. Take right onto Main St./Rte. 202. In 1/4 mile take left at the blinking light onto Allen Pond Rd. See Landry's Quick Stop on left. Follow Allen Pond Rd. over the Androscoggin River into Turner. Go straight through 2 stop signs. The Turner Grange is about 1/4 mile up on your right. Rt.117 Turner Center/Turner Center Rd.
